Odyssey Launches 'Unique' Diver Development Group
Odyssey Dive Centre is very pleased to announce, by overwhelming request, that it has NOW launched its new "Odyssey Diver Development Group".
You asked and we actioned..
For some time now, our instructors and staff have been hearing requests from recently qualified divers for something to 'stepping stone' a qualified diver to an experienced diver, without simply booking on another course. Obviously, you can't buy experience, it can only be gained by actually diving but many have expressed that although qualified and proficient in the safety aspects of basic recreational diving, they don't feel that they have the confidence to simply get out there and DIVE..!
Most of you have said you would prefer to initially gain the experience and confidence as a 'dive buddy' rather than a 'student'. So this exciting NEW group has been specifically formed to help ANY qualified Odyssey divers (not JUST new Open Water divers), that feel that they lack 'diving confidence', to gain exactly that. All of which is done in the comfort of a completely separate group, away from the possible peer pressure of the more advanced and experienced divers.
Through dedicated FREE Odyssey DDG talks and classroom based meetings helpful advice and experience will be passed on regarding everything from kit configuration to navigation tips and dive planning by our own Odyssey instructors and staff. Onwards from these sessions, open water days and short trips will then be arranged where, for a small charge, divers will be 'buddy'd' by our enthusiastic Dive Centre Manager and depending on group size, additional Odyssey Staff Divers, to help put the new advice into practice.
If you're excited about diving but worried about the prospect of 'going it alone' (with another newly qualified buddy) and concerned your diving skills may need improvement before you 'giant stride' into a new dive site, then look no further, we CAN help..
