This exciting new Odyssey programme takes Open Water divers (or other scuba divers with equivalent qualifications) to the next level, as PADI Advanced Open Water divers who have also undergone the specialist training to give them more scuba diving qualifications than ever before. 

The Odyssey AOW Plus programme takes divers through a flexible series of supervised dives and the necessary theory to gain the experience, confidence and qualifications that open up the world of scuba diving like never before. 

Throughout the programme, you will work in dedicated dive teams where you will pick the dives you want to do and qualifications you want to have.  Its that flexible.

You will be able to attend talks on a whole range of diving topics, from diving careers through to where and when to dive, and you will get to dive under the mentorship of Odyssey's experienced instructing staff and alongside other dive buddies at your level and with similar interests.

By the end of the programme, you will have the confidence, experience and qualifications to take your diving, truly to the next level.  The AOW Plus programme prepares divers for the Rescue Diver course and the coveted Master Scuba Diver rating. It also sets the standards for those wishing to go on to be Divemasters or Instructors.

Course Structure:

The programme takes place at a speed to suit you but is usually completed over 5 months.  The details of the programme will be specific to your requirements and logistics, so please contact the Odyssey staff to discuss your place today.

At the end of the Advanced Open Water Plus course, you will have the following PADI certifications:

    Advanced Open Water Diver; and

    Deep Diver Specialty; and

    Navigation Diver Specialty; and

    Three more PADI Specialty diver qualifications, chosen by you from the following list:
       
        i.    Wreck Diver;
        ii.   Enriched Air Nitrox Diver;
        iii.  Peak performance Buoyancy Diver;
        iv.  Drysuit Diver;
        v.   Digital Underwater Photography;
        vi.  Multi-level Diver;
        vii. Oxygen Administration;
        viii. Diver Propulsion Vehicle.
