SPORT DIVER MAGAZINE - Odyssey Dive the 1021
What really sank the U1021..?
The U1021, a German U-boat, was lost off Newquay in mysterious circumstances at the end of WWII. A team of technical divers from Odyssey Dive Centre recently paid her a visit and uncovered secrets that had remained hidden for more than 60 years.
Odyssey enlisted the help of expert dive charter operator Atlantic Diver to get the dive team out to the wreck site, the position of which is still a closely guarded secret.

Odyssey Dive Centre is very pleased to announce that with the help of Odyssey Director - Nick Booth (during his recent visit to Cape Verde) we have now sponsored an endangered Loggerhead turtle, that Nick's daughter named 'Squirt'.
Due for release on the 20th of October 2010, Squirt is part of a programme to protect turtles and their habitat on Cape Verde and increase the worldwide population of turtles by raising the number of hatchlings that make it to the sea.

2010 Odyssey Tec Expedition to German U-boat U-1021
The U-1021 was lost in 1945 with all hands. It sits now at 58m on the bottom of the Atlantic, 10 miles off Newquay.
