Get onto the M6 North bound –heading towards Preston and Blackpool and finally into Lake District 

Continue north up to junction 35.  At top of slip road is a roundabout.  Go right, sign posted to Over Kellet Quarries.

After 500 metres you will eventually come to a T-junction.  Turn left into village of Over Kellet. 

As you enter the village the road will narrow slightly then you come to crossroads in village centre (with stone cross monuments). 

Turn left down country lane.  Stay on this country lane for approx. 2 miles. There are signposts to Capernwray but they are very small.

Entrance to Capernwray is on the right amongst the hedgerows – just join the queue to get in 

Meet at Capernwray at 9.00am at weekends or 10am during the week.
