Capernwray

You can catch the Odyssey van at Capernwray dive site a couple of times a month. We usually have a mix of courses and pleasure pootles taking place, so why not come and join in? This site, with a max depth of 18m in nearly all areas (bar the little dip to 21m a the sump), is a great, safe site to practice and review your skills with your buddy either to prepare for the sumer season, or for a trip abroad, or just for fun. There are plenty of great features to navigate between and the chocolate brownies are so good you will almost cry! Various fresh water fish – trout, perch, roach and sturgeon that are not shy and used to being fed.

Facilities at the site include; toilets, changing rooms, showers, restaurant, dive shop with air fill station and nitrox facility, large car park area, hire shop and diving school.  Bear in mind that the restaurant is very good but can be slow, especially at weekends and can be rather expensive.  A packed lunch, flask and some drinks are a good idea!
